Servicing vehicle LEVC

Thanks to new eCity technology and market-leading service intervals our electric vehicles will spend more time on the road, with fewer trips to the garage. And due to the inherent reliability and simplicity of the electric motors, you’ll notice a significant decrease in your overall servicing requirements. The reduction in time spent on refuelling and maintaining your vehicle is just another aspect allowing you to earn more.

The battery and electric motor which propel TX & VN5 requires little to no regular maintenance, since there are few fluids to change and or moving serviceable parts, and because the electric motor drives the vehicle, there is no traditional gearbox to inspect or maintain.

The petrol range-extender will require maintenance similar to conventional vehicles, however because the battery and motor can drive the vehicle on its own most of the time, the petrol range-extender only operates when needed – meaning less mechanical wear on those components.

Even energy recovery mechanisms such as regenerative braking system play a part in reducing maintenance costs. Not only does it help improve the electric range, it also reduces the wear on the brake pads and brakes extending their lifespan.

Your vehicle will alert you through the dashboard symbols, when your taxi needs attention. Please consult our Driver App which will help you find out what your vehicle needs.
